Procurer automates the sourcing side of procurement: it reads a request for quotation, finds and contacts qualified suppliers, collects and reads their replies, compares the offers on real total cost rather than just the number on the page, and recommends which one to award — with a human making every final call.

It's built multi-tenant from the ground up — every organization that signs up gets its own isolated workspace, its own team with role-based permissions, and the option to use its own AI, email, and telephony credentials rather than sharing infrastructure with anyone else.

How it works

Nine steps, from a raw request to an award recommendation.

1. RFQ intake & analysis

Paste in the text of a request for quotation and it's read the way an experienced procurement analyst would: item, quantity, engineering standard, size, pressure class, material, and whether the part requires OEM-authorized sourcing. Anything the model isn't confident about — a vague line, a missing spec — gets flagged for a human to check rather than silently guessed at.

2. Intelligent supplier discovery

Rather than relying on a supplier list that goes stale the day it's built, Procurer can run a live, AI-grounded search of the open web for real candidate suppliers matching what a project needs. A person reviews and approves every candidate before it's added to the trusted supplier list.

3. Automated RFQ distribution

Once suppliers are selected, Procurer composes a professional RFQ and sends it to every selected supplier simultaneously. Every send is permanently recorded against the project.

4. Automated follow-up

If a supplier doesn't respond, Procurer can chase them automatically — how often, how many times, and which channel to escalate through, all configurable per project.

5. Quote collection

When a supplier replies, price, currency, lead time, payment terms, and delivery terms are extracted automatically — no one retypes numbers out of an email into a spreadsheet.

6. Commercial bid evaluation

Every supplier's offer is placed side by side automatically, with currency normalized to a real exchange rate — no manually cross-referencing separate emails and spreadsheets.

7. Total cost analysis

Procurer goes past the number on the quote to calculate what a supplier will actually cost — shipping, import duty, tax, customs fees, and live currency conversion — and the result is frequently a different ranking than the raw quoted prices alone would suggest.

8. AI procurement recommendation

A plain-language recommendation explaining which supplier to award to and why, grounded in the same figures a person can see on screen. Built to support a buyer's decision, not replace it.

9. Dashboard

A live, at-a-glance view of every RFQ in flight — active projects, pending responses, quotes in, and recommendations ready — each number linking straight through to the underlying detail.

Every project shows a real, computed stage — Draft, RFQ Drafted, Awaiting Quotes, Quotes In, Evaluated, Recommendation Ready, or Closed — derived from what's actually happened, not a label someone sets by hand.

A full communications record

Every RFQ sent, every reminder, and every reply received is kept as a permanent, visible record on the project. Nothing depends on someone's memory of what happened.

Once an RFQ has gone out, its line items lock. Once a project is closed, every action on it locks — enforced by the system itself, not just hidden behind a greyed-out button.

The AI approach

Three techniques, used across the workflow rather than built separately for each step:

  • Structured extraction — turns unstructured RFQ text and unstructured quote replies into the same normalized set of fields, so intake and quote collection never drift into incompatible formats.
  • Grounded web search — supplier discovery searches the live web rather than relying on the model's memory, so results are real, current companies.
  • Reasoning over structured data — the recommendation is written only after being given the same evaluation numbers a person can see; the model explains a result, it doesn't compute one. The cost math itself — currency conversion, duty, tax — stays ordinary, deterministic calculation, on purpose: a spend decision should be auditable down to the arithmetic.

Built with the assumption that this holds real commercial data from day one:

  • VerifiedEvery organization's data is fully isolated — confirmed directly, not just assumed, with a second organization tested to see zero of the first's data.
